The Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum

In November 2023, the Green Jackets invited Jonathan to talk on one of his books Churchill’s Third World War. The Story of Operation Unthinkable. The enjoyable evening in Winchester was supported by Friends of the museum together with a number of veterans from the regiment’s past formations such as 2/King’s Royal Rifle Corps, 3/Rifle Brigade and Ox and Bucks Light Infantry. Brigadier James Plastow kindly showed Jonathan the extensive displays and exhibits at the museum, which also hosts a magnificent diorama of the Battle of Waterloo.
