Talk at The Merchants’ Hall, Bristol

In January, Jonathan was delighted to accept an invitation to deliver a talk at The Merchant’s Hall Bristol to supporters of the Young Bristol charity.  This organisation is Bristol’s leading provider of community-based youth services and through the good work of its trustees and volunteers, funds are raised for this worthwhile cause. Vice Chairman, Mrs Lindy Tasker headed the volunteers who arranged the event in the splendid surroundings of the city’s Merchant Venturers’ Hall. Jonathan entertained the audience with tales of mistresses and their powerful lovers during The Great War and the talk was rounded off by a lively afternoon tea.
