The Army Flying Museum

In February 2023 The Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop, invited Jonathan to talk on his latest book in which he edited the memoirs of Sergeant Robert Ashby of the Glider Pilot Regiment during WWII. Robert’s son Michael Ashby gave an illuminating introduction about the private life of his father, followed by Jonathan’s illustrated talk on glider operations at ‘D-Day, Arnhem & The Rhine Crossing. The show took place in the main exhibit hall of the museum to a packed audience including cadets, territorials and Para veterans.
